Observation au long terme et expérimentation - écosystèmes LAcustres

Welcome to the OLA Infrastructure

OLA (Long-Term Observation and Experimentation of Lake Ecosystems) is a research infrastructure providing scientists with a wide range of facilities and equipment, including research boats, sensors, mesocosms, laboratories, and drones. These resources support the study of freshwater lake ecosystems and the production of high-quality scientific data to better understand and model their ecological functioning and responses to both local human pressures and climate change. More information about the OLA infrastructure is available at https://soere-ola.hub.inrae.fr/.

Data Access

The long-term observation component of OLA has been operational for several decades and includes extensive biological and physicochemical datasets spanning 30 to 60 years, particularly for the large peri-alpine lakes. These long-term observations, combined with experimental studies, provide valuable insights into biodiversity responses to environmental pressures. OLA data and associated information are available through the OLA Information System: https://si-ola.inrae.fr/.
